MIA CAVINESS

I am a recent graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Interior Architecture, a minor in Psychology, and cum laude honors, graduating with a 3.8 GPA. With a deep passion for innovative design and a strong eye for detail, I bring a well-rounded foundation in both the creative and technical aspects of the field.

Over the past 6+ years, I’ve developed excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills through diverse customer service roles in retail, restaurant, and office environments. I am proficient in CAD, Rhino, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, InDesign, and Photoshop.

My design experience includes three summers collaborating with interior designers, where I supported property measurements, home staging, photoshoots, and design styling, as well as provided CAD support. Most recently, I interned with Air Arquitectxs in Valencia, Spain, where I designed and rendered a single-family home renovation into a detailed Valencian-style oasis and gained on-site construction experience.

I’m passionate about both residential and commercial interior design and am excited to continue growing my expertise in these areas.
