MIA CAVINESS

I am a fourth-year Interior Architecture major at San Diego State University, maintaining a 3.8 GPA, with a deep passion for detail and innovative design. My 6+ years of experience in customer service across retail, restaurant, and office settings have honed my interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

I am proficient in CAD, Rhino, Revit, Sketchup, Enscape, InDesign, and Photoshop. Over the past three summers, I collaborated with interior designers, assisting with property measurements, home staging, photoshoots, and design styling. I also provided CAD support, strengthening my technical and creative expertise.

Last summer, I interned with Air Arquitectxs in Valencia, Spain, where I immersed myself in the local culture while enhancing my design and architectural skills. I had the opportunity to design and render a single-family home renovation, creating a detailed Valencian-style oasis. Additionally, I visited construction sites to gain a practical understanding of the building process.

I am passionate about both residential and commercial interior design and look forward to expanding my expertise in these areas.
